Louvers

Ribbed wall panelling in two materials. WPC is the solid, heavier plank — it takes a deep 23mm rib and reads as real timber. PVC is the hollow board that covers a whole room quickly and comes in the wider 12-inch face. Between them the range runs from plain teak and ash through greys and marbles to gloss prism and bark textures, all of it fixed vertically to give a wall its line.

What it does well

  • The rib is moulded through the board, so a cut end still shows the profile.
  • WPC takes a screw and holds it — it can go onto battens over an uneven wall.
  • PVC board is hollow and light enough for a ceiling run as well as a wall.
  • Wipes clean; the wood grains are printed under a wear layer, not stained in.
  • Cuts with a fine-tooth blade. Internal corners butt; external corners take a trim.

Finish

WPC Louver 23mm

Solid WPC planks, four square ribs to a length, with the rib faces and the grooves between them finished in the same tone. The heaviest profile in the range and the one that reads as real timber from across a room.

WPC Panel 23mm — CH Series

The same 23mm rib depth, but the groove between the ribs is finished in a contrasting graphite or grey. Gives a sharper shadow line than the plain louver, and lets a wood rib sit against a dark ground.

PVC Louver

Hollow PVC louver board — narrow ribs on a flat backing, cut from one sheet. Lighter than WPC and the usual choice where a whole room is being clad rather than a single feature wall.

PVC Louver 12 inch

The wide board in the PVC range — fewer, broader ribs across the face, so a large wall covers in far fewer boards and shows fewer joints.

Fluted Panel 12 inch

High-gloss and textured fluted boards: marble, stone, bark and faceted prism faces alongside the wood grains. The decorative end of the range.

Fine-rib fluted louver in full-length boards, shot on the roll at the mill. The closest-spaced ribs we stock.

Fitting it

  1. Check the wall is flat and dry. If it is not, batten it out — WPC will screw straight to battens.
  2. Work out the board count against the wall width before you cut anything, so the last board is not a sliver.
  3. Start from the most visible corner and work away from it, keeping every board plumb.
  4. Bead adhesive down the back of each board and press home; butt the next board into the groove.
  5. Finish external corners and the top edge with a matching trim.

Looking after it

  • Dust along the grooves with a dry brush or a vacuum brush head.
  • Marks lift with a damp cloth and mild soap.
  • Keep solvent cleaners off the gloss and marble faces.
