Fitting it
- The existing floor must be hard, flat, dry and clean. Fill grout lines and level any steps first.
- Dry-lay the room before peeling anything, so cut tiles land at the least visible wall.
- Peel a corner, align to the chalk line, and press down as you go.
- Roll the whole floor after laying to seat the adhesive.
- Leave a small gap at the wall and cover it with skirting or beading.
Looking after it
- Sweep or vacuum grit — it is the only thing that will scratch it.
- Damp mop with a mild cleaner.
- Use felt pads under furniture legs.
- Do not flood the floor with water.
Questions we get asked
Yes, if the grout lines are filled and the surface is flat. Over deep grout the joint will telegraph through.
